Someone in our community is waiting for a way to move.

Right now, a neighbor in East Alabama or West Georgia is preparing to leave the hospital. They’ve had surgery, suffered an injury, and are facing a sudden loss of mobility. They are ready to go home—but they have no way to get from the front door to the kitchen.

At Mobility Worldwide, we believe no one should be stranded in their own home. While many know us for our Mobility Carts which we build and distribute through the assistance of Partners for Care, our local loaner program is a lifeline for families in our own backyard.

The Situation is Urgent

We are currently facing a critical shortage. While we facilitate wheelchair loans every single week, our current inventory has dwindled to just a two-week supply. We often hear from families in distress—people caught in the "gap" where insurance won't cover a chair or the VA hasn't yet responded. We work closely with the Rehabilitation Hospital of Phenix City to catch these patients before they fall through the cracks, but today, our shelves are nearly empty.

You Can Be the Answer

This is a unique opportunity to serve someone you may never meet, providing them with dignity and independence during their most vulnerable moments. We are seeking:

  • Manual Wheelchairs (Our greatest and most immediate need)

  • Walkers and Canes

  • Crutches

Don’t Wait—Give Mobility Today

If you have a gently used wheelchair or mobility device gathering dust in a garage or closet, please let it move again. Your donation works right here in our community, helping a neighbor return to their life.

To donate: Simply reply to this email or contact Sam directly at sam@maketheworldmobile.org.

"We get the calls when families are at their breaking point. Your donation ensures that when they ask for help, we can say 'Yes.'"
