On Friday, Kate Anderson and I had the pleasure of presenting gifts of mobility, a walker and wheelchair to a veteran at Encompass Rehabilitation who awaited release the following day.

Due to an issue at the VA, this veteran had not yet received mobility aids that were vital to his recovery and well-being.

Because of generous donors, Make the World Mobile had a selection of mobility aids available in it's loan closet, both a walker and manual wheelchairs that were in gently used condition.

I explained to him that donors in our community had made his mobility aids available for situations such as his.

The man clearly understood and quietly expressed his deep appreciation.

I called on God to bless this man who clearly was facing a challenging recovery.

At this time, our Mobility Loan Closet inventory is low.

Your donation of gently used mobility aids can provide for the needs of the next person who reaches out for help.

Please give today.
