Today, I'd like to share with you a testimony by Harryson Shume. Harryson's story was made available to us by Partners for Care, distribution ally of Make the World Mobile.
This is Harryson's testimony:
"My name is Harryson Shume. I have been given the nickname, 'Rambaramba,' thanks to the sweet iced products I sell daily.
I was formerly a street beggar. then, in 2021, Partners for Care (PFC) gave me a Mobility Cart and mini mart. I thought it would be difficult to start a business selling ice cream, until a friend encouraged me to join a team in Watamu that makes and supplies ice cream to retailers. I did so, and learned it was the simplest way.
My mini mart stores up to 300 pieces of frozen ice cream. By selling them, I am able to earn enough money to pay my bills, rent, utilities, and buy food for my family.
I thank God for PFC.
The gift of mobility has changed my life from a street beggar - to a successful business owner who is valued by many people. May you be blessed!"
