Given My Life Back

It is my goal to share with you stories which demonstrate the wonderful benefits that leg disabled recipients receive as the result of your compassionate heart. Your gift of mobility is such a kind blessing.
I hope that you will be touched by this story from our distribution ally, Partners for Care.
"My name is Leah Chumao. I am 58 yers old and I live in Bomet County. In 2014, I lost the use of my leg, and since then, I have not left my home for 11 long years. Those years were filled with loneliness and longing for the simple freedom of movement that many take for granted.
Then, the team from Partners for Care brought me a mobility cart. I sat on it for the very first time and tears welled up in my eyes. I looked at my daughter and said, 'I want to cycle to church.' It was a dream I had almost forgotten.
For the first time in over a decade, I am able to cycle again! I can visit the posho mill, go to church, and see my friends. This mobility cart has given me so much more than movement - it has given me my life back.
I am deeply grateful to Partners and Care and to Mobility Worldwide for this gift. That you from the bottom of my heart for helping me start this new journey."
~ Leah
