In Tharaka Nithi, Kenya, 787 people living with disabilities have recently received new mobility carts and mobility aids.
Jinue (meaning "uplift" in Swahili) is the name of the local program whose goal is to bring mobility to all leg disabled living in Tharaka county.

The Honourable Margaret Mutomi, First Lady of Tharaka Nithi stated, "This program is a beacon of hope and empowerment for our community. Thank you for walking this journey with us.”
Mobility Carts and devices came from Mobility Worldwide MO–Columbia, Friends of Disabled Adults and Children (FODAC), and Make the World Mobile.
Partners for Care is our distribution ally in Kenya.
Thank you to all local volunteers and partners who made it possible for our shop to participate in this very special project.
